My Research provides a central hub that allows users to:
- Set up alerts quickly
- Get alerts via RSS or e-mail
- Get direct access to alerts and search histories
- Create lists of preferred databases
- Customize search result formats
- Set personal preferences
- Establish Login Links that do not require IP verification
